Quinte Elite Dance Team offers a Recreation program as well as a competitive program.
Our competitive dancers compete in 4 competitions across Ontario. Auditions are held each spring/summer. Contact Quinte Elite for more information.
"QEDT became not only a home started studio in a high school gym, but a place for dancers to discover themselves, that lasts forever in my heart. I came to QEDT within their first year of opening for a fresh start, while still getting to dance with the people I love most. My experience at QEDT was short but sweet. I was able to participate and compete within our first year of announcing our new studio then moved away to complete my studies. QEDT has always made me feel welcome, and I always love continuing to show my support over the years. Sometimes I wish I could've stayed and grown with the studio, but my experience with be an everlasting memory. Walking into the auditorium of the school every week and seeing all my fellow dancers made my time with that much more exciting. Practicing our routines or learning a new skill is what brought me back to dance each and every week, and finally having our own comfortable dance team in my last year of dance the best one."
"Quinte Elite dance team has taught me many valuable lessons. Besides the skills and techniques needed for dance, they also taught me many skills for life in general. I have learned the importance of self confidence and what a difference it makes when you're preforming and when you're experiencing new things. I've also learned the importance of encouragement and teamwork. My dance team is my family and we always encourage, motivate and inspire each other to give 110% during practices and performances. I have been able to improve a lot and try new genres throughout my time Quinte Elite, with the help of wonderful teachers. I am grateful for my time with this team and i know they will continue to do great things."
